12 week 'shape up for summer' bootcamp

Back in January 2017, as a New Year's resolution, my wife started her weight loss journey, and I decided to tag along. After all, I had nothing to lose, other than a few pounds. Since then I managed to loose nearly 50 pounds of weight and my physique changed dramatically. I discovered a new found love and passion for fitness and nutrition, which encouraged me to get qualified so I can help others. During my journey, I have come to realize that exercise and proper nutrition is not  short terms fix, but a lifestyle.  Being active and eating well regularly had made me feel amazing and helped me become more confident in all aspects of life. 

HOW I CAN HELP YOU

I qualified as a fitness instructor so I could help people change their lifestyles by making better food choices and getting active. I know the gym can be an intimidating environment for many, hence why the boot camp will an inclusive space where everyone is welcome. You will be working out and getting fitter with a number of like minded people who share the same goal as you - getting more active, fitter and improving their diet ( and lifestyle!). 

THE BOOTCAMP

WHEN & WHERE: The Boot camp at Long Stratton High School on Monday, 12th March. Sessions will be delivered in a way where you are in control of the intensity and how hard you work, so don't worry if you are a beginner or have not trained for a while. As long as you work as hard as you can, by the end of the 12 weeks you will see some great results.

 

PROGRESS: When you sign up for the course, we can take your 'before' images and note some stats so when it comes to the end of your journey we can compare the results and celebrate your progress. Having your images taken is not compulsory, so if you'd rather not - that is absolutely fine ( don't worry, we wouldn't share them with anyone without  your consent!). I personally find that seeing photos - especially progress images, really helps me to keep on pushing for  my goal. 

 

EXCLUSIVE FACEBOOK GROUP: You will be invited to join Members Only Facebook group, where I will be offering nutrition advice and support,  and share some helpful information and exercises that you can do at your own time ( should you fancy it!). Your group will be a safe, private space for you to ask any questions, share your concerns ( and good recipes too!) and connect with other members from your group. 

 

COMMITMENT: While you are not required to attend every single training session (I understand, that we all have lives and things crop up!) I would urge you to make sure that you are committed to this program. If you genuinely want to get fitter and see the results, you will have to find an hour twice a week to spend on YOU. Everyone's results will vary as no person is the same, however those who will commit to all training sessions and will follow my advice on nutrition, will see the best results at the end of the 12 weeks.
